ShepherdNSheep Ministry, Inc. (SNS) is a non profit 501 (c)(3) Christian-based organization.  SNS,  prompted by the Holy Spirit and was  founded in July 1999 because there was a need to increase evangelistic efforts to bring the message of Jesus Christ to all parts of the world.  Headquartered in Shreveport, Louisiana SNS is not a church, but an evangelistic ministry that works with churches to strengthen the evangelism agenda.  It serves as a consultant, instructor and liaison to various churches throughout Louisiana.  It has the endorsement of many pastors, churches and community leaders.  Working tirelessly SNS fulfills the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations.  (Matthew 28:19-20)  SNS has proven to be a light of hope in and to the community.

Because SNS is not a church, it is not supported by tithes or offerings.  It is only supported by charitable contributions, fundraisers and volunteers.  Through this support, SNS constructed The Shepherd’s Place, a multipurpose facility in April 2005.  The Shepherd’s Place provides facilities for the various divisions of its ministry to operate.

A Board of Directors governs SNS.  The board consists of people who volunteer their time, talent and treasure.   They are dedicated to the ministry of soul winning for Christ.  Billy Joe Johnson, CEO and Inolia Yearby Johnson, founder, are a husband and wife team who oversee the day-to-day operations of the ministry.  Mr. Johnson is a deacon, past Sunday School superintendent, and has worked in Brotherhood ministries with District Associations and the State Convention.    Mrs. Johnson holds a  Master of Religious Education and has been an evangelist for more than 20 years.  She is a teacher and speaker and has written, produced and directed numerous Christian plays.  She was the first African-American to write, direct and produce a Christian play at Shreveport’s largest Theatre, The Strand Theatre in 1994.  Billy and Inolia are members of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where the devout, faithful and distinguished Dr. E. Edward Jones, Sr. is pastor.
