Our Ministries
Evangelism Institute
SNS operates a unique institute dedicated to teaching believers how to share their faith. Over 55 classes have been completed in 26 years — all offered free of charge. Materials are provided, and courses are open to all who wish to learn how to confidently share the Gospel.
Street Ministry
Through door-to-door evangelism, SNS has shared the Gospel with over 20,000 homes across the United States and abroad — including Kenya, Senegal, and Jamaica. Each encounter offers hope, prayer, and connection to local churches for ongoing discipleship.
Consultant Ministry
SNS partners with churches and non-profit Christian-based organizations to strengthen and renew their evangelism, mission, and outreach efforts. With deep expertise in biblical mission and evangelism (including outreach), strategic planning, and ministry development, SNS helps organizations clarify their evangelism and missionary visions, align them with their calling, and translate them into effective action.
Whether launching new initiatives or revitalizing existing ministries, SNS equips leaders and teams with practical training, proven frameworks, and contextual strategies to engage their communities and the world with purpose. Our consulting approach combines theological depth, real-world ministry experience, and hands-on implementation, enabling organizations not only to plan effectively, but to build sustainable, mission and evangelism-driven cultures that bear lasting fruit.
Theatrical Ministry
We proclaim the Gospel through drama, music, and storytelling. Our plays address real-life issues such as addiction, grief, family struggles, and apathy — always pointing to redemption through Christ. These performances also help fund our ministry outreach.
Community Evangelism
In recent years, we have intentionally served our community by hosting tent revivals in economically disadvantaged and often overlooked areas of the city. Through these and other outreach opportunities, we meet people where they are—bringing praise, worship, and the life-changing message of the Gospel while offering hope, prayer, and tangible support. We also actively partner with other Christian nonprofit organizations that share our evangelistic and missionary vision, working together to address both spiritual and physical needs. Most recently, we served alongside community partners at Houston Hope Fest, held in October 2025 on the grounds of Star of Hope, where many individuals made the decision to accept God through Jesus and begin a new life with Him.
Missions Ministry
Under the leadership of Victoria L. Plante, SNS partners with churches and ministries locally and internationally. Our mission efforts include:
- Supporting feeding programs in Kenya
- Providing scholarships for disadvantaged students
- Training pastors and leaders in Africa
- Ministering to Muslim Background Believers in Senegal
Our ultimate goal is to reach the 10/40 Window — nations where the Gospel remains least heard.
FaceDown Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry, FaceDown, was birthed from the tragedy of Trayvon Martin’s death and exists to empower young believers to stand boldly for truth, justice, and faith. As SNS’s youth ministry, FaceDown equips students with a unique and intentional approach to sharing the message of Jesus Christ with their peers and communities.
